If the basic principles detailed in this eBook were taught at school or college the distribution of this information would not be necessary. Sadly 35 years of experience as a Professional Financial Consultant, and counselling thousands of adults who were in financial trouble, provides more than sufficient proof that most people are totally uninformed when it comes to money.
Debt, and the trauma that it causes, is the financial cancer that is destroying the lives of millions of people. The entire global economic system is focussed on the consumption of goods and the provision of services. Business has but one goal, “Profit,” and consumers are the victims.
THE BRIDGES
I trust that you will appreciate the reason I have used the pictures of bridges, on the cover, and in the text. The journey to your financial destination is bound to present you with any number of obstacles, and in each instance, you will be looking for ways, and information, to “bridge” from where you are to where you want to be.
The Japanese construct bridges for artistic enhancement or to accentuate the experience of the person walking in surroundings specifically designed to please the senses.
May you find the chapters as useful as the bridges constructed to accommodate those travelling from one destination to another. But may the pictures also convey a message of beauty and achievement and may your transition from your present financial state to your desired financial state be more than an exercise in financial discipline and the application of the principles detailed in the various chapters.
In conclusion may you look back on the journey, be pleased by what you have experienced, and express your gratitude by being a part of the process we have started for the next generation.
